DS Lite Slot-1 Game Socket

Nintendo DS Lites have 2 sockets. Slot-1 is where the DS games are inserted, this is the socket that is used almost exclusively. Slot-2 is where GBA games can be inserted, these sockets are rarely used.

The slot-1 game sockets are easily damaged, the fine metal prongs that make the contacts are easily bent if a game cartridge is inserted incorrectly. Often small children will also damage these sockets by putting something other than a game into the socket (a biscuit for example!).These are high quality replacement slot-1 sockets suitable for DS and DS Lite models.

These slot-1 game sockets are quite easy to repair. It requires some soldering to replace these sockets but this soldering is not difficult. Just take your time and follow the instructional video we have provided and it should be a walk in the park.
