Some background on the iPhone Screen AssemblyAll iPhones actually have 2 screens, a 'touch screen' (aka: Digitizer) and an LCD screen. These two screens are assembled together to form the iPhone Screen Assembly (see image below). The touch screen is 'see through' and infers the touch sensitivity, whilst the LCD screen displays the picture.
